UNCHAIN aims to digitalise loading and unloading bays for the urban distribution of goods, monitoring in real-time the occupancy status of these spaces and regulating their use to avoid potential abuse. UNCHAIN will also develop a digital system to dynamically manage these spaces and to provide the logistic operators not only with useful real-time information to locate and make use of these areas but also to benefit from a series of added-value functionalities (e.g. on-street parking space booking, flexible usage regulations depending on the type of vehicle and time window…).
