This was followed by a large scale demonstration in the demo sites, evaluation and impact assessment: the preparation and deployment, evauation methodology and plan, technical impact assessment, socio-economuc and environmental IA as well as the large scale demonstration for all the pilot sites.

After a warm traditional Czech lunch, a cities’ roundtable was carried out: the cities of Prague, Funchal, Riga, Madrid, Florence, Mechelen and Berlin exchanged on the work carried out and the strategies planned to overcome identified challenges. Very interesting to see also why it is beneficial for cities to work with the logistics operators!

We concluded the day by a guided Old Town Hall tour, with access to the tower. A good way for the city of Prague to share the patrimonial value of their city!

On the second day of the General Assembly, the morning began with key highlights from the large-scale demonstrations at the demo sites, including evaluation results and impact assessments. This was followed by presentations around business innovation and go-to-market strategies by SPES, EIT, and POLIS. The session included an exploration of market analysis and monitoring, business models, and a hands-on workshop combining SWOT analysis with policy and market recommendations for each KER. Each city had the opportunity to reflect on the challenges and enablers in its standardization process for the KERs.

After lunch, before departing for the airport, the team visited the Battswap initiative, an excellent opportunity to see how a Czech company is advancing sustainable urban logistics in the city.
