Our project at the ALICE Innovation Summit
On November 6-7, 2024, the UNCHAIN project proudly participated in the ALICE Logistics Innovation Summit, held at the Tangla Hotel in Brussels. Celebrating the 10th Anniversary of ALICE and its Clusters, the two-day event brought together leading stakeholders, policymakers, industry experts, and innovators to tackle the critical challenges and opportunities facing the logistics sector as it navigates the twin transitions of green and digital transformation.
The UNCHAIN project was featured in the exhibitor area, and it shared a stand alongside the DISCO project. This strategic partnership offered a comprehensive showcase of innovative solutions in urban logistics, fostering meaningful discussions with summit attendees. The exhibit generated significant interest from industry professionals, reflecting the growing recognition of the importance of sustainable urban logistics solutions.
A highlight of UNCHAIN’s involvement was a concise and engaging pitch delivered by the project’s Communication and Dissemination Manager from POLIS Network. The presentation provided attendees with an overview of UNCHAIN’s mission and key achievements, capturing the attention of both new contacts and long-standing industry partners.
UNCHAIN’s goals mirrored the Summit’s commitment to promoting collaboration, sustainability, and innovation in logistics. Participating in this event was an invaluable opportunity to connect with other leaders in the sector, share best practices, and draw inspiration from discussions that underscored decarbonisation and the adoption of digital technologies.
