First UNCHAIN Consortium Meeting
We are excited to bring you a special highlight from the recent UNCHAIN Consortium meeting that took place in the beautiful city of Florence, Italy.
The UNCHAIN Consortium, dedicated to redefining the future of transportation and urban living, convened for an impactful two-day meeting in Florence. The meeting took place on the 19th and 20th of September and brought together all UNCHAIN project partners to discuss the next steps of our amazing project.
The first day started in the dreamy venue of Palazzo Vecchio, on of the most beautiful landmarks of the city of Florence. The day was filled with presentations from the task and work package leaders to determine the work forward. On the second day, the consortium met at a different venue, at the Biblioteca delle Oblate, where we had multiple workshops to understand the best ways for our services.
During these two days, our consortium members engaged in fruitful conversations that sparked inspiration and set a visionary course for the UNCHAIN project and its services. We delved deep into the intricacies of shaping a more sustainable, efficient, and resilient urban environment.
Two intensive capacity-building workshops were a cornerstone of our time together. These workshops empowered our team with the knowledge and skills required to push the boundaries and enhance UNCHAIN services, reinforcing our unwavering commitment to progress and innovation.
Our journey in Florence extended beyond the meeting room, as we embarked on two eye-opening site visits throughout the city. Florence’s representatives shared their sustainable urban plans, showcasing their visionary initiatives aimed at redefining urban logistics. It was an honor to witness these transformative efforts that are shaping the future of urban living.
