On 12 March 2026, the UNCHAIN project, together with MoLo Hubs, has taken the stage at Intertraffic Amsterdam, one of the world’s leading events for smart, safe, and sustainable mobility in Europe.
Although UNCHAIN and MoLo Hubs Project operate under different funding frameworks and regional priorities, both projects share a common ambition: enabling sustainable, people-centred urban logistics systems. By combining physical urban logistics solutions with data-driven planning approaches, we aim to bridge innovation and implementation across European cities.
They participated in the session on “Planning for logistics access”, exploring complementarities between physical urban logistics solutions and data-driven planning approaches. By combining these perspectives, the session enabled a discussion on:
– How local pilots can inform wider urban freight strategies
– How planning tools can support the scaling and replication of hub-based logistics solutions across European cities.
It was also the occasion to find out about the FELU Tool, a guidebook supporting land use planning for urban freight efficiency and developed as part of UNCHAIN.
Thank you @Melina Zarouka for representing the UNCHAIN project, and @Jose Sloaz from IBV for presenting the FELU guidebook!
