“From Data to Delivery – Integrating urban logistics and mobility for climate-neutral cities”
We are pleased to announce the collaboration of UNCHAIN and MoLo Hubs, two European-funded projects in urban logistics, in organizing their final event together. The event will take place on 13 and 14 October 2026 in Brussels, at COMET Louise.
About the projects
UNCHAIN is a Horizon Europe-funded project focusing on the transition towards sustainable urban logistics. It aims to optimize urban operations by developing 12 innovative services tested across 7 cities.
MoLo Hubs is an Interreg-funded project from the North Sea region. It puts the focus on the reduction of traffic in urban mobility hubs by initiating and prototypically implementing new and convenient logistics service offers in five pilot cities.
While these projects come from different funding schemes, they join forces to explore how to improve logistic operations in cities!
About the event
The demand for urban mobility services is growing rapidly as more and more of Europe’s population becomes concentrated in cities. The pressure to deliver convenient, well-organised mobility and logistics systems for citizen and commercial use is expanding at the same speed, and is unlikely to level off in the years to come. For cities, it means that urban logistics processes and services will need to be re-thought, requiring innovative, sustainable and collaborative solutions.
To respond to these challenges, UNCHAIN and MoLo Hubs are joining forces, sharing their vision and insights for the future of urban mobility services.
The event will bring together urban logistics practitioners, policy-makers, researchers and experts across Europe to exchange knowledge and highlight innovative solutions.
These two days will include a mix of plenary sessions, breakout discussions, workshops and a study visit to one of the partner cities!
